Relationships between Photosynthesis & Respiration :)

Initial Theory : Both are dependent on each other in exchanging of gases.
Reasoning : Photosynthesis takes in carbon dioxide and gives out oxygen. Then ,the oxygen
produced will be taken in for respiration and gives out carbon dioxide for
photosynthesis .

A Better Theory : Both are dependent on each other in exchanging of gases and balancing each
other as well .

-->Why study photosynthesis?

• Our quality of life and existence depends on it.
• The impact done on humans & animals.
• Control photosynthesis and enhance the production of food, fibre and energy.
• Can be used for many purposes.

-->What is the importance of photosynthesis?

• Photosynthesis plays a vital role in regulating the life cycle on earth.
• The sunlight, water and the plants work together to supply the raw source of energy to us and help us breathe in oxygen for survival.
• Life without photosynthesis will be impossible.

-->How will photosynthesis affect us?

• It gives us air and helps us breathe.
• Plants will not be able to grow thus messes up our ecosystem, resulting to death as we do not have enough oxygen and the sun will be of no use.
• Maintains the amount of gases in the air.
